The coastal town of Amanzimtoti is the gateway to the KwaZulu Natal South Coast and one of the most popular holiday destinations in South Africa.
'Toti' as it's more commonly known to the locals, which is just 27km south of Durban, hugs a shoreline of beautiful golden beaches along the warm Indian Ocean.

The growing Eco-tourism industry in the area and the adjacent South Coast offers hiking and walking tours, eco-diving adventures, whale and dolphin watching, as well as eco-adventure sports like white water rafting, abseiling and rock climbing in the Oribi Gorge.
Once a year, during June/July, a unique natural phenomenon, the Sardine Run, takes place in the KwaZulu Natal coast's waters. Millions of the tiny silver fish migrate north along the coast in huge shoals followed by thousands of game fish, dolphins and sharks.
